Camlock Seals & Gaskets
Camlock couplings, also known as cam and groove couplings, provide a quick and reliable method of connecting and disconnecting hose and process pipework. The Camlock gasket is located within the female coupler and creates the sealing interface against the male adaptor when the cam arms are closed.
International Seal supplies Camlock seals for food & beverage, chemical, fluid-transfer and general industrial applications. Our range is available in standard sizes from ½” to 6″, with a choice of elastomer and specialist compounds to suit different process media, temperatures and operating environments.

Materials
Camlock seals are available in a range of elastomer compounds, allowing the gasket to be selected according to the fluid being transferred, operating temperature and application conditions.

Metal Detectable Camlock Gaskets
Metal and X-ray detectable Camlock gaskets are available for food, beverage and other processing environments where foreign-body contamination control forms part of the production system. Detectable compounds incorporate specialist additives designed to improve the ability of metal detection or X-ray inspection equipment to identify fragments of sealing material if a gasket becomes damaged during use.
Detectable options are available in selected elastomer grades suitable for food and hygienic processing applications. Detection performance depends on the compound, fragment size, product being inspected and the sensitivity and configuration of the inspection equipment. Detectable Camlock seals should therefore be validated under the customer’s actual production conditions.
